Sunday Route Driver Birmingham

Home Delivered Meal Route

We are seeking an individual to join our team as our Home Delivered Meal Driver. This position would cover Jefferson and Shelby County working as a driver delivering meals using your own reliable vehicle. The route typically starts at 9:30 am and you deliver until finished which could be anywhere from 1 to 4 hours depending on the number of stops. 

Responsibilities

• Drive clean personal vehicle to deliver food to customers
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout the city while adhering to a time schedule
• Load and unload food to be delivered
• Complete logs and reports
• Pack your car with meals for the route
• Drive a route delivering meals 
• Meal delivery is scheduled to start on Sunday mornings or Sundays after church
• During your route, drop off bag at front door and pick up any reusable bags and bring back to customer warehouse at end of rout

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Valid Alabama DL (at least two years)
• Safe driving record
• Vehicle and basic liability insurance
• Good verbal English and customer service skills
• Smartphone (iOS or Android) with internet plan
• Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal

Benefits
