Supervising Social Worker – Fostering (Permanent)

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary: £36,000 – £39,000
Contract: Permanent

Pro Social Partners are working with Fostering Innovations, an independent fostering agency, to recruit a Supervising Social Worker to support their foster carers across Birmingham and the West Midlands.

The Role

* Provide supervision, support and guidance to a caseload of approved foster carers.

* Complete annual reviews, carer development plans and statutory visits, including unannounced visits.

* Support placements and liaise closely with placing local authority social workers.

* Contribute to assessments of prospective foster carers and attend fostering panel.

* Promote safe care and positive outcomes for children in placement.

About You

* A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration.

* Experience within fostering or children's social care.

* Good knowledge of the Fostering Regulations and National Minimum Standards.

* Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

* A full UK driving licence and access to a car.
