Salary: £43,000 – £47,000 per annum

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Social Housing Repairs Supervisor to oversee responsive repairs and property maintenance across a residential housing portfolio in South London. You will manage operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service to residents.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily responsive repairs and maintenance across social housing properties.

Manage multi-trade operatives and subcontractors.

*

Allocate workloads and ensure repairs meet agreed SLAs.

*

Carry out site visits, property inspections and post-inspections.

*

Monitor productivity, workmanship and first-time fix rates.

*

Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.

*

Liaise with tenants and residents to resolve issues and provide updates.

*

Coordinate follow-on works, materials and specialist contractors.

*

Investigate defects, poor workmanship and customer complaints.

*

Work with planners and contract managers to achieve contractual KPIs.

*

Maintain accurate job records, work orders and inspection reports.

*

Monitor performance and report progress to senior management.

Requirements

*

Previous experience as a Repairs Supervisor or Maintenance Supervisor.

*

Background in social housing or property maintenance.

*

Knowledge of responsive repairs and general building maintenance.

*

Experience managing tradespeople and subcontractors.

*

Good understanding of health and safety requirements.

*

Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

*

Full UK driving licence.
