Supervisor / Plastics Setter Weekend Shift

A well established leading UK manufacturer of drainage products is seeking a skilled Supervisor / Plastics Setter to join their team in Yaxley, Peterborough. This role combines hands-on machine setup and troubleshooting with leadership duties, ensuring a smooth and efficient manufacturing process.

This is a weekend role working 05.45 – 18.00, Friday / Saturday / Sunday.

As the Supervisor / Plastics Setter you will:

• Set up, adjust, and maintain plastics manufacturing machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Supervise the weekend production team, ensuring targets and quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and oversee maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Train and support operators on machinery setup and production processes.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct quality checks to maintain production excellence.

We are looking for a Supervisor / Plastics Setter with the following experience / qualifications:

• Previous experience within an injection moulding manufacturing environment as well as setting experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience within a factory setting.
• Strong technical knowledge of machine set up and troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive approach to improving processes and production efficiency
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
