What is a Supplier Quality Technologist at Prinova?

This role is responsible for assisting the raw material (RM) supplier approval process for the Food Premix & Sports Nutrition Business. This role will coordinate RM analytical monitoring and supplier monitoring audits with the Quality Department. The role will involve collecting, reviewing and filing documentation from suppliers during approval and making recommendations for approval/disapprovals and next steps on RM approvals.

What to expect?

• Coordinate different phases of the approval process including documentation, RM assessments, organizing external testing, risk assessments, audit recommendations and approval


• Create purchasing specification for new RM & update existing ones where appropriate


• Coordinate RM analytical monitoring and Supplier monitoring audits with the Quality Department


• Collection, review and filing of documentation from suppliers during approval process


• Coordinate RM annual monitoring and compile summary reports for audits and customer requests


• Testing of new RM under evaluation for approvals


• Manage customer’s notifications & approval process with customers


• Perform annual risk assessment for RM and suppliers


• Perform annual HACCP risk assessment on RM and suppliers


• Lead Kosher and Halal certification for the UK site


• Support Continuous Improvement program initiatives


• Complete customer questionnaires for matters related to RM


• Support Document Control


• Provide support to HACCP & TACCP Team


• Provide project support for Quality Department with Production & Engineering topics      

Does this sound like you?

• Great understanding of Quality requirements and standards in the food industry (ISO, HACCP, BRC, GFSi etc.)


• 1-2 years’ experience within a Quality, Technical or R&D role in the Food Industry would be desirable


• Great attention to detail and focus on Quality


• Excellent written and oral communication skills


• Great project management skills


• Ability to work autonomously, fast learner, willing to take initiative


• Resilient and confident to interact with senior members of the management team
