Supplier Relationship Manager

• Annual Salary: £55,000+

Reed Procurement and Supply Chain are working alongside an established organisation who are looking to recruit a Supplier Relationship Manager to their procurement department. This role is crucial in providing commercial expertise to support our the businesses contract management structure and ensuring compliance with the Procurement Act 2023. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing relationships with strategic partners and driving contract performance.

• Develop and implement Supplier Relationship Management policy and contract structure in compliance with the Procurement Act 2023.
• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with strategic partners, ensuring all contractual requirements are fulfilled and service levels are met.
• Act as the lead for the team handling all contractual and supplier management issues beyond day-to-day activities.
• Conduct regular Supplier Relationship Analysis to assess and enhance supplier performance.
• Provide strategic support on contracts, contributing to tender specifications and managing contract mobilisations to ensure smooth transitions into operational management.
• Develop mechanisms for capturing and reviewing management information, including service performance, KPIs, milestones, and service credits.
• Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders involved in strategic contracts and provide leadership in commercial and contract management.
• Offer guidance and support to key stakeholders on contractual issues and develop training programs to enhance contract management awareness across the organisation.

• Proven experience in Supplier Relationship Management or a similar role
• Strong understanding of contract law and procurement regulations, specifically the Procurement Act 2023.
• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to manage strategic partnerships effectively.
• Experience in leading teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to oversee and interpret performance data to make strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of educating and enhancing team capabilities.
