Supplier Relationship Officer

A global organisation based in Staffordshire who are now looking for a Procurement professional to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
As a Supplier Relationship Officer, you'll be the central point of expertise for all things supplier-related. From managing contract renewals and performance reviews to negotiating SLAs and driving continuous improvement, you'll ensure our suppliers deliver maximum value while aligning with company policy and SRM best practices.
Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead supplier reviews and performance management initiatives.
• Coordinate framework agreements and ensure value for money (VFM).
• Negotiate KPIs and SLAs with suppliers and service owners.
• Conduct due diligence and manage the Preferred Supplier List.
• Oversee the tender process from ITT to contract finalisation.
• Benchmark market data and explore new sourcing territories.
• Support onboarding, compliance audits, and procurement strategy.

What you'll need to succeed

• CIPS Level 4+ qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong background in procurement, supplier management, and negotiations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with KPIs, SLAs, and contract compliance.
• Analytical mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
• Ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
