Job Description - Supply Chain Administrator

Join Our Clients' Team as a Warehouse/Supply Chain System Support Specialist (ERP).

Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of warehouse and manufacturing operations? Do you have a knack for problem-solving and a passion for optimising systems? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

About the Role: We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic ERP System Support Specialist to manage and maintain our client's ERP system (SAP).

Your mission? To ensure seamless operations across our warehouse and manufacturing departments. You'll be the go-to expert, working closely with IT, Warehouse, Planning, Procurement, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to keep everything running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

  • Be the Hero: Lead the charge in supporting Warehouse and Manufacturing teams with issue resolution and training.
  • Solve Mysteries: Analyze ERP issues and errors, developing innovative solutions to minimise disruptions.
  • Keep the Wheels Turning: Provide crucial support to minimise the impact of ERP issues on production schedules and batch releases.
  • Drive Improvement: Establish and implement initiatives to maximise yield, quality, and safety while reducing downtime and waste.
  • Collaborate: Support the Material Review Board (MRB) process and liaise with Manufacturing for SAP investigations.
  • Ensure Accuracy: Support cycle counts within Manufacturing areas to achieve shop floor accuracy of over 98%.
  • Educate: Create training materials to help teams investigate inventory variances.
  • Maintain Standards: Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are up to date and relevant to SAP transactions.
  • Track Movements: Record all stock movements and issues of materials and equipment via SAP.
  • Communicate: Maintain effective communication with Production, Engineering, Marketing, Quality, and Procurement teams for seamless service and problem-solving.

Who You Are:

  • Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail and compliance with written procedures.
  • Communicator: Strong communication skills and a knack for problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Experienced: Previous experience in the pharmaceutical/food industry is a plus.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft packages and warehouse-based systems.
  • Knowledgeable: Familiar with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GDP (Good Distribution Practice) with 3-5 years of experience.
  • ERP Expert: Experienced in using SAP or equivalent systems.
  • Educated: Maths and English GCSE level or equivalent.
