Supply Chain Assistant

Reed Business Support are currently seeking a proactive and organised Supply Chain Assistant to join our client's team in Aylesford. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to further their career in supply chain management. As a Supply Chain Assistant, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's supply chain processes.

• Assist in the management of supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
• Support the planning and execution of supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and prepare reports on stock status and movements.
• Assist in the analysis of supply chain data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to supply chain activities.

• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Assistant or similar role in supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and familiar with supply chain management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
