Role & Responsibilities:

Conduct consistent review of outstanding PO's to ensure production and customer demand is maintained
Esurance that all production requirements are met and customer delivery achieved OTIF
Review vendor performance and manage the relationships to achieve a maximum stock turn and quality accuracy
Liaise with internal staff to manage min/max settings and vendors
Ensure stock condition and layout is maximised to ensure quality pick/pack and delivery
Liaise with other engineers to develop and implement systems and processes that improve overall production operations - utilising LEAN practices.
Maintain zero lost time status and ensure working practises are followed within the area and team
Train, mentor, and supervise staff to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and maximum output efficiency.
Set department objectives & KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Ability to provide and delivery process control to situations
Hands on, foot forward thinker with genuine desire to grow the role and department
Strong knowledge of LEAN manufacturing processes and quality control principles
Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiencies.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team
Strong engineering knowledge and understanding - with a hands-on approach.
Proficient in analysis of data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions.
Courage to challenge and speak up when faced with resistance.Benefits Package:
