Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled supply chain professional to coordinate the logistics, supply and demand planning of our UK operations.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods from suppliers to inventory whilst optimising processes and enhancing overall efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to meet business objectives
- Coordinate logistics, warehouse, and transportation
- Oversee inventory management, demand forecasting, and procurement processes
- Monitor supplier performance
- Analyse data to improve supply chain operations and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance communication and streamline processes
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role with expertise in logistics, supply chain and/or demand planning
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Proficiency in using supply chain systems such as SLIM4
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks effectively, and meet deadlines consistently
