Position: Supply Chain Demand Specialist
Location: Chertsey
Salary: Competitive Day Rate + Bonus Scheme
Duration: Two Positions Available (One Ongoing Contract and One 12 Month FTC)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm

Overview of a Supply Chain Demand Specialist:
As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be working with the retail operations and commercial teams to ensure stores have the right products and stock to improve sales opportunities.

Responsibilities of a Supply Chain Demand Specialist:
Gather market insights to support the forecasting model.
Attend trading meetings with clients.
Analyse and improve forecast accuracy.
Manage product categories for concession stores.
Build short and long-term demand forecasts.
Monitor and analyse forecasts with various divisions.
Provide store sales forecasts to purchasing teams.
Build relationships with supply chain teams to align stock allocation.
Negotiate with supply chain during peak periods or out-of-stock situations.

Key competencies of a Supply Chain Demand Specialist:
Supply Chain, Demand Planning and forecasting experience within a retail, FMCG business.
Knowledge of advanced planning techniques - S&OP, capacity planning etc.
Advanced Excel skills essential (including pivot tables, vlook ups etc).
The ability to work in a fast paced environment and enjoy working as part of a team.
Must have an analytical attitude.
