Supply Chain Leadership Senior Director

At Estee Lauder Companies we are looking for an inspiring and commercially focused Senior Director Supply Chain Lead to shape and lead our UK and Ireland supply chain strategy. This high impact role connects supply chain activity across brands, functions, regional teams and external partners to improve efficiency, speed to market, customer service and business performance.

You will lead an integrated supply chain organisation supporting a dynamic consumer environment. Working with commercial, brand, finance, regional and global stakeholders, you will translate business strategy into execution plans that optimise cost, inventory, service and growth. You will also represent the UK and Ireland in regional and global supply chain forums.

Role responsibilities

• Lead the UK and Ireland supply chain strategy and operating model in alignment with corporate, regional and brand priorities.


• Build an integrated supply chain function that delivers value, removes unnecessary cost and strengthens collaboration.


• Sponsor and facilitate the UK and Ireland integrated business planning process, aligning demand planning, supply planning, latest estimates and commercial priorities.


• Balance demand and supply across the short term horizon to maximise sales, revenue, customer service and profitability.


• Partner with brands, commercial teams and finance to improve demand signals, inventory levels, forecast accuracy, supply attainment and service performance.


• Oversee logistics, distribution, fulfilment, returns and value added services, working closely with regional teams and the UK and Ireland third party logistics partner.


• Set clear service, cost, quality, ethics and compliance expectations for external partners.


• Drive disciplined inventory management, excess reduction and promotional reconciliation while maintaining availability and execution against marketing calendars.


• Lead supply chain collaboration with retailers and customers to improve end to end performance, on shelf availability and in market quality.


• Deliver continuous improvement, transformation, value realisation and technology initiatives that improve operating margins and speed to action.


• Develop capital, expense and headcount plans that support business priorities.


• Lead, coach and develop a high performing team of direct and indirect reports, creating an inclusive environment that encourages accountability and innovation.


• Build future capability and ensure the organisation is agile and ready to support product launches, brand integration and changing market demands.

Qualifications

• Progressive senior experience leading a broad range of end to end supply chain activities in a fast paced and complex organisation. Experience in consumer, beauty, luxury, retail or FMCG would be advantageous.


• Strong understanding of integrated business planning, demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, logistics and distribution.


• Proven experience leading supply chain transformation, continuous improvement and complex cross functional projects.


• Excellent knowledge of SAP and confidence using data, financial insight and performance metrics to guide decisions.


• Strong commercial judgement, with the ability to assess trade offs between service, inventory, cost, speed and profitability.


• Experience managing third party logistics providers and building relationships with retailers, customers and external partners.
