A growing business, operating in the sporting goods sector, is searching for a Supply Chain Manager to join the team just outside of Worthing. Your Role While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
Overseeing core duties such as shipping and ordering, and providing reporting on supplier performance, costs associated with freight forwarding, delivery schedules and lead times
Ensuring that all periodical and ad hoc trading and stock reports are updated
Building strong relationships with suppliers, keeping good communication with them to ensure products are supplied on schedule
Keeping the website updated with pricing, including taking into account new products and discounts
Maintaining accurate information in buying plans
Raising purchase orders for submission to suppliers
Managing the stock delivery schedule accurately
Acting as a key point of contact regarding stock details for the Operations team and responding to enquiries, ensuring any issues that arise are resolved
Booking and managing shipments with third-party freight or logistics providers
Maintaining the product file, ensuring products are uploaded to the website and systems
Providing accurate and insightful analysis for the Commercial Director
You MUST Have: Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
Excellent experience from within a role that focusses on supply chain process management
Ideally experience in either a retail or commercial environment, and preferably exposure to the sports industry
Fantastic communication skills, particularly in developing key business relationships
Strong analysis and numeracy abilities
A good technical proficiency in IT systems and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
