Location: Harwell – Oxfordshire (4 days onsite)

Role Overview:
Reporting into the operational director, this role is a mixture of leadership and strategic supply chain development, where you’ll manage a team of buyers and will be required to work alongside engineering, quality, finance and operations. You’ll be expected to develop a clear SC roadmap and operating model, provide advice to senior leadership figures and manage the UK procurement function, often acting as the supply chain representative for the business externally.

What are we looking for?

Significant Supply chain/procurement leadership and management experience
Industry experience within a highly regulated engineering environment, e.g.: space, aerospace, automotive, defense etc.
Proven experience managing and developing procurement/supply chain teams, working at both an operational and strategic level
Experience with ERP/MRP systems, Supply chain data and KPI Development 
Procurement Qualifications: CIPS, MCIPS, CIPS Level 6 etcPersonal Profile:
The successful candidate will show they have a commercial astute and analytical mind, who can work well with different departments and is able to have strategic discussions with teams across the world. A real change leader who has a clear vision for the future
