This is a profitable food manufacturer that puts its money back into its sites. The site you would run is modern, well invested and known locally as one of the friendliest places to work in the area.

The group is growing. It is opening a brand new site and investing tens of millions in a new digital MRP system, so you would help shape how planning works for years to come.

It is big enough to offer real resources, but small enough that you matter. With fewer than ten sites, the decisions you make each day show up in the site's output and in the lives of the people you lead. If you are ambitious, this is a group where you can make a name for yourself.

What you would do

You would lead the site's whole supply chain, from demand and capacity planning to scheduling, warehousing, dispatch and delivery. You would report to the Site Director and lead a team of 31, including a Senior Planner, a Supervisor and five Team Leaders.

In practice, that means:

* Running S&OP and owning the production plan and schedule.

* Spotting capacity pinch points early and deciding how to solve them.

* Improving warehouse, inventory and logistics performance, with a 98%+ OTIF target.

* Leading a clear improvement plan, with the backing to deliver it.

* Developing your team, including your own successors.

Who will thrive here

You have led an end-to-end supply chain in food manufacturing or a similar fast-paced setting. You like owning the plan and making the call. You can point to improvements you have delivered, whether in OTIF, stock accuracy or cost, and you want a role where that work is noticed and rewarded.

You also care about people. You would rather build a strong team than work around a weak one. The role includes some weekend planning cover.
