I'm working with a leading consulting firm looking to hire a Senior Manager to join their Supply Chain & Procurement practice, supporting major clients across the Defence sector.

This role sits within a growing and well-established team delivering complex transformation programmes across defence organisations. The focus is on helping clients improve supply chain performance, reduce costs and modernise procurement and operations through digital and operational transformation.

You'll play a key role leading projects and advising senior stakeholders on procurement strategy, operating model design and supply chain optimisation, while also helping drive innovation across areas such as automation, analytics and digital capability.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead supply chain and procurement transformation programmes within defence organisations
• Design and implement target operating models, procurement strategies and organisational structures
• Develop and execute category strategies across direct and indirect procurement
• Identify and deliver cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain
• Drive operational improvement and process optimisation
• Support clients on digital transformation across procurement and supply chain functions
• Lead teams and manage client relationships across complex engagements

What they're looking for:

• Strong experience within Defence supply chain or procurement environments
• Track record delivering transformation projects in consulting or industry
• Experience across cost reduction, procurement strategy, operations improvement or supply chain optimisation
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to operate at senior client level
• Familiarity with ERP platforms, analytics tools or source-to-pay solutions
• Comfortable leading teams and delivering complex client engagements
