Are you an experienced Supply Chain Planner looking for your next challenge? This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Leicester as part of their dynamic Procurement & Supply Chain team. This is a full-time, permanent role with the opportunity to work from home 1 day per week.

Reporting directly to the Procurement Director, you'll be responsible for managing direct spend planning and contributing to continuous improvement in supply chain performance, cost analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
-Managing purchase orders and forecasts, ensuring timely ordering of goods, expediting where necessary to meet delivery targets.
-Monitoring supplier performance through KPIs and vendor rating reviews, maintaining strong working relationships.
-Liaising with stakeholders across the business to flag and manage potential supply delays proactively.
- Resolving queries in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
-Compiling data and creating management reports for board-level presentations.
-Assisting other departments in evaluating supplier performance and supporting cost-effective material sourcing.
-Ongoing pricing review and communication with internal teams.

Essential Experience & Qualifications:
-Proven experience in a supply chain planning role within a manufacturing environment.
-Hands-on experience managing an MRP, ERP, or SAP-based demand planning system.
-Confidence working with external suppliers and stakeholders.
-Strong IT skills - confident user of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

It is essential you have a full UK driving licence and access to a car for this role.
