Supply Teacher

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large, co-educational secondary school that was graded ‘Good’ in all areas during its most recent Ofsted inspection. The school is seeking adaptable and enthusiastic educators to join their team on an ad-hoc basis, providing cover during periods of staff absence across a range of subjects.

Teaching Personnel are supporting the school by recruiting reliable and confident educators to assist with classroom cover when required. This opportunity is well suited to Early Career Teachers wishing to gain further experience, experienced teachers seeking flexible working arrangements, or educators looking to maintain their teaching practice while reducing workload.

As a substitute teacher, you will be responsible for supervising pre-prepared lessons, maintaining a calm and purposeful classroom environment, and ensuring that students remain engaged in their learning. You will also be expected to follow the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies, collect completed work at the end of lessons, and provide feedback to teaching staff where appropriate.

Those working as substitute teachers with Teaching Personnel benefit from a flexible working schedule, with both pre-booked and short-notice opportunities available. Weekly pay is processed every Friday through PAYE, and you will receive ongoing support from a dedicated personal consultant.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
