Empowering Learning are recruiting reliable and adaptable Supply Teachers to work across a network of supportive secondary schools in Dagenham. These Supply Teacher opportunities include daily cover, short-term placements, and long-term teaching roles across KS3, KS4 and KS5 curriculum.

Supply Teacher Responsibilities

* Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 KS4 KS5 curriculum
* Maintain strong behaviour management and classroom control
* Support student progression and engagement during teacher absence
* Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies
* Provide lesson feedback to teaching departments
* Support inclusive learning including SEN, SEMH and EAL students

Supply Teacher Requirements

* QTS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification or relevant experience
* Experience teaching or covering lessons in secondary education
* Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
* Flexible, reliable and adaptable teaching style
* Strong knowledge of curriculum delivery and classroom expectations

ECT teachers are strongly encouraged to apply. Many schools use Supply Teacher placements as pathways into permanent teaching roles.
