Job Type: Day to Day Supply, Long-Term Cover
Pay Rate: £130 - £160 per day

Looking for your next teaching opportunity? Supply Staff Ltd is seeking experienced and qualified Primary School Teachers for day-to-day supply work across primary schools in Taunton, Somerset. Opportunities include short-notice cover when schools experience teacher absences, as well as longer-term assignments covering staff sickness, maternity leave and other extended absences. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain a positive classroom environment and support pupils' learning and development. Lesson planning and marking will be provided, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging lessons and ensuring continuity of learning.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day cover for absent teachers, including short-notice bookings.
* Deliver pre-planned lessons in line with the primary curriculum.
* Follow the work and resources provided by the school.
* Manage classroom behaviour and promote positive learning habits.
* Support pupils with their learning and encourage participation.
* Provide consistent teaching and classroom support during longer-term sickness or maternity cover assignments.
* Work collaboratively with school staff to maintain continuity of learning.

Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent appropriate to the role.
* Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
* Strong classroom management and lesson delivery skills.
* A flexible, organised and professional approach.
* Availability for day-to-day supply, with an interest in longer-term cover opportunities.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.
* Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
