The Role – Primary Supply Teacher

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons and maintain a positive classroom environment across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2).

Day-to-day supply teaching assignments will generally involve delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour, supporting pupils with different learning abilities and ensuring continuity of education during teacher absences.

Longer-term supply teaching positions may involve additional responsibilities, including lesson planning, assessment, marking and contributing to the wider school community.

We recruit for Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 teaching opportunities, offering flexibility for teachers who prefer particular key stages or age groups.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for Primary Supply Teachers who:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

Have experience teaching within UK primary schools.

Are confident delivering lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.

Have strong classroom management and communication skills.

*

Are professional, adaptable, reliable and enthusiastic.

Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
