Support Accountant

Search are delighted to be supporting the recruitment of a Bookkeeper for our award-winning client's Edinburgh office with hybrid working. If you're a Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant or Accountant with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to be part of a supportive team and company that values work-life balance, you'd be encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
* Serving as the initial point of contact for our customers through phone, email, and online chat, and addressing their queries accurately and promptly.
* Conducting training sessions for customers via outbound calls, including those on a free trial and subscribers seeking additional training.
* Proactively reaching out to users to offer assistance.
* Supporting potential customers by providing the information they need to make informed decisions about our product.
* Collaborating with product teams to test new features or enhancements to existing functionalities.

Skills and experience you'll ideally have:
* Practical accounting experience (payroll, VAT, Self Assessment).
* Strong knowledge of accounting processes.
* Tech-savvy and computer-literate.
* Awareness of bookkeeping and accounting software.
* Demonstrable interpersonal skills.
