The Role As a Support Geologist, you will work closely with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored demonstrations, technical support, and training. This is a client-facing role that combines geoscience expertise with problem-solving and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities Act as the technical focal point for software support and evaluations for clients across the UK and Europe. Deliver technical demonstrations and support pre-sales activities. Identify and develop solutions to meet client requirements. Provide technical support and guidance to users. Deliver client and internal training sessions. Attend conferences, exhibitions, and industry events as a company representative. Support commercial teams by identifying business development opportunities within the energy sector.Requirements MSc in Geology or a related discipline. Experience working as a Geologist or Technical Sales Geologist. Strong knowledge of geological modelling software such as Petrel, RMS, or Leapfrog. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Self-motivated and capable of working independently and within a team environment. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality support.Desirable Skills Understanding of reservoir simulation workflows. Experience with Python or other programming languages. Knowledge of the full geoscience workflow, including seismic interpretation, static modelling, volumetric calculations, and uncertainty assessment.
