Location: Sunderland (Hybrid working)
Salary: £33,802 per annum
Hours: 37 per week (Mon–Fri)
Contract: Permanent

As the Support Manager, you will be the driving force behind high-quality, person-centred support for an organisation that lives and breathes its values. Day-to-Day of the Role Include:

  • Inspire and empower your team for meaningful and impactful support and care.
  • Monitor your locations quality and implement improvements.
  • Promote safeguarding, meeting KPI's and compliance with policies.
  • Coordinate with professionals and agencies for enhanced support.
  • Build and maintain relationship with the people we support, their families and circle of support.

In return you will need:

  • UK experience in a similar role or organisation.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Effective communication and team management.
  • NVQ in Care Level 5 or equivalent.
  • Availability to work some weekends (scheduled in advance.)
  • Driver (ability to travel between locations and head office in Gateshead is essential.)
  • Experience in managing dispersed regional locations.
  • Experience in working with learning disabilities.
  • Knowledge of CQC standards, MCA, GDPR.
