Your day – to – day at Paragon

Every day is different, but your role could include:

• Providing trauma-informed care that makes children feel safe and supported
• Building positive relationships and encouraging healthy routines
• Supporting education, daily life skills, and personal development
• Preparing meals and attending medical or community appointments
• Advocating for young people and ensuring their voices are heard
• Using your own car to transport children when required
• Helping them develop the confidence to move forward with hope

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary)
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own car
• Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (including nights, weekends, and sleep-ins)
• A clear enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

A relevant qualification (NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
