As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve greater independence while supporting them with their daily lives. Every day is different, and you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of the people you support.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
* Encouraging and supporting people to participate in meaningful activities and hobbies.
* Supporting individuals with community access, shopping, appointments, and social activities.
* Assisting with personal care where required.
* Administering medication following training and company procedures.
* Supporting with meal planning, cooking, household tasks, and maintaining a safe living environment.
* Assisting individuals to attend medical and healthcare appointments.
* Promoting independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion at all times.
