Teaching Assistants Required | Skelmersdale & Chorley | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities

Are you currently working as a Support Worker, Care Worker, Residential Support Worker, Mental Health Support Worker, or Youth Worker and looking for a rewarding change of career?

We are working with a range of SEN and SEMH schools across Skelmersdale and Chorley who are looking for enthusiastic, resilient, and caring individuals to join their teams as Teaching Assistants.

No previous school experience is essential. If you have experience supporting vulnerable people, managing challenging behaviours, or building positive relationships, we would love to hear from you.

The Role:

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Helping students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
Supporting learning both inside and outside the classroom
Building positive relationships and acting as a role model
Working closely with teachers and other education professionals
What We're Looking For:

Experience working in care, support work, residential settings, youth work, or similar roles
A calm, patient, and resilient approach
Confidence managing challenging behaviours
A genuine passion for helping young people reach their potential
A willingness to learn and develop within an educational setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
