Supported Housing Worker

Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting for a supported housing worker on behalf of our client based in Frome and Shepton Mallet. As part of the role, the successful candidate work across two locations, providing tailored, person-centred support to clients with medium-level needs. From helping people maintain their tenancies to connecting them with vital services.

Location: Frome and Shepton Mallet
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent
Salary: £25,235 per year

Main duties and responsibilities

• Delivering direct support and housing management services to clients
• Building strong partnerships with local agencies
• Keeping client records accurate, clear, and up to date
• Tracking referrals into the service
• Creating a safe, supportive and empowering environment that promotes personal growth and sustainable move-on.

Person Specification

• Experience working with people who may have complex needs and/or challenging behaviors
• Valid driver's license and access to own vehicle - business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver's license and access to a car for business purposes
• Participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota
• Participation in a rostered system of working with shifts between the hours of 08:00 AM and 20:00 PM
• Primarily Monday to Friday, with weekend availability required on a rotational basis
