• Supporting in assessing patients' health and well -being across a complex and changing caseload
  

• Promoting best practice and contributing towards quality improvements
  

• Acting as an SFA across a heavy caseload of general, gynaecology and bariatric surgery
  

• Working as a Scrub Practitioner across various specialities.

Requirements

Requirements of Surgical First Assistant Job in Liverpool

• Proven experience as a Surgical First Assistant
  
• A minimum of 6 months experience in the NHS
  
• A valid NMC/HCPC registration with rights to work in the UK
  
• BSc or diploma from a nursing program
  
• Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures & willingness to follow them at all times
