Sustainability Analyst for Professional Services Firm

A global law firm based in Manchester and Birmingham are seeking a Sustainability Reporting Analyst to join their growing Sustainability and Responsibility Team on a full time, permanent basis. Reporting to a Sustainability Manager, the successful candidate will play a key part of the firms growth plans over the next few years and their goal towards Net Zero. The successful candidate must have prior Sustainability Analyst experience of working within a professional services environment and not from a consultancy background.

Day to day duties may include:

• Support reporting in line with all frameworks including ISO accreditation
• Collated data and analysing the data on topics sch as carbon data, emissions
• Contribute to net-zero planning
• Ensure all supply chain sustainability, supporting with supplier onboarding and sustainability assessments
• Identify risks and opportunities to improve sustainability within the firm
• Handle and resolve client sustainability requests

The successful candidate will ideally be degree educated (relevant to sustainability or similar), alongside solid experience of working within the professional services industry within a Sustainability and Analytical area. You will have strong IT skills and a good attention to detail with a problem solving approach to work. You will be a team player and have strong communication skills. This role is full time, hybrid and can be based from Manchester or Birmingham with travel potentially required to other offices on a ad hoc basis.
