Workplace, Safety & Sustainability Coordinator (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Exeter | 25 hours per week (5 hours per day, Monday-Friday)

£23,215 per annum (pro rata, £32,501 FTE)

We're recruiting for a newly created Workplace, Safety & Sustainability Coordinator role within a purpose-led organisation that genuinely makes a difference to people's lives.

This is a great opportunity to help shape a brand-new position, working across workplace safety, facilities and sustainability. You'll collaborate with teams throughout the business and play an important role in helping create a safe, compliant and environmentally responsible workplace.
No two days will be quite the same, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, ownership and working across multiple projects.

What you'll be doing
* Coordinating ESG reporting and sustainability activities
* Assisting with carbon reduction and environmental initiatives
* Helping monitor progress against sustainability objectives
* Acting as a key contact for workplace and facilities matters
* Liaising with contractors, landlords and service providers
* Maintaining statutory compliance, inspection and testing records
* Supporting workplace improvement projects
* Coordinating health and safety activities and risk assessments
* Maintaining accident, incident and DSE records
* Organising workplace safety training and awareness activities
* Supporting internal and external audits
* Providing reporting, administration and record-keeping support across multiple workstreams

What we're looking for
You'll already have experience in an administration, coordination, compliance or operational support role and be comfortable managing a variety of responsibilities.
We'll be looking for someone who:
* Is highly organised and takes pride in getting the details right
* Can manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
* Communicates confidently with people at all levels
* Enjoys building positive working relationships
* Is comfortable working with data, spreadsheets and reporting tools
* Takes a proactive and solution-focused approach
* Enjoys working across a broad range of business activities

Experience in health and safety, facilities administration, sustainability, ESG reporting or contractor management would be advantageous but isn't essential.
