We're seeking a Sustainability Coordinator to support the delivery of a major energy efficiency improvement programme across a portfolio of residential properties throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Acting as the central point of contact between residents, contractors and project partners, you'll play a key role in improving homes, reducing energy consumption and ensuring compliance with evolving environmental standards.

Our client is a well-established not-for-profit organisation that manages a substantial residential property portfolio across the UK. With a strong focus on resident wellbeing, sustainability and responsible asset management, the organisation is investing significantly in improving the energy efficiency and long-term performance of its homes.

Description

Act as the primary liaison between residents, contractors, consultants and project stakeholders.
Support the delivery of a large-scale residential energy efficiency improvement programme.
Manage communications with residents throughout the retrofit process.
Resolve issues that may impact project delivery, including access challenges and resident concerns.
Raise and manage works orders, variations and invoice processing.
Maintain accurate records within property management systems.
Update EPC, warranty and property component data.
Monitor project expenditure and maintain detailed reporting records.
Support grant administration, including funding claims and programme submissions.
Produce management and board reports on project performance and progress.
Manage complaints and ensure satisfactory resolutions.
Contribute to wider sustainability, retrofit and asset management initiatives.Profile

A successful Sustainability Coordinator should have:

Experience working within property services, housing, asset management or a related environment.
Understanding of domestic energy efficiency measures and Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs).
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Experience managing multiple stakeholders and coordinating projects.
Competent user of Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, Outlook and SharePoint.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to produce reports and maintain accurate records.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a wider team.
Experience of grant-funded improvement programmes would be advantageous.Job Offer

Hourly pay of £22
Temporary contract with the opportunity to go perm
Hybrid working model (3 days on site, 2 days from home)
