Sustainable Transport Planner

An opportunity has arisen for a Transport Planner with experience in Sustainable Transport and Active Travel to join a client in London. Working on a number of sustainable transport and active travel projects such as cycling, walking and wheeling, your main duties include delivering public realm and traffic improvements, stakeholder and public engagement, making streets and roads more people-friendly and drafting a range of transport planning policies and highway programmes.
 
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer £30 - £32 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate and dependant on experience. Flexible working and working from home arrangements are available.
 
Working within the Transport team your main duties include:
·Delivering a range of public realm and transport planning projects
·Assisting with the development of transport policies for future schemes
·Working on urban design, regeneration, highway and public spaces projects
·Writing reports, attending meetings and providing written responses to the public
