Chiswick, Hanworth, Heston, Isleworth & Osterley. Our leisure centres boast a full range of facilities including fitness studios,
health suites, swimming pools, indoor & outdoor courts, pitches, tracks, and café facilities. It is our mission to provide

make a real difference and an enjoyable customer experience for all users of the Centre’s facilities. About the Job As a Swim Manager at Isleworth, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our swim school, swimming lessons, and swim
school programming, as well as acting as a Duty Manager for a min 2 shifts a week. Our swim school is currently at around 10,000
swimmers across the borough; Isleworth has three swimming pools and with almost 2000 swimmers in our swim programme, and is one of
our most popular swim schools across our 5 sites. As an ambitious, results-driven, strategic Swim Manager, you will look to grow
our swim school through innovation and creative ideas, develop our teachers through CPD training, whilst working collaboratively
with other departments across the business to ensure an innovative programme of activities that support and give back to the local
community, are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities include: * Coordinate and manager our swimming programmes at the leisure centre.
* Ensure the swim programme is operated in accordance with the Swim England Teaching Plan.
* Ensure the swim school brand is fully implemented at the centre.
* Drive towards maximizing Swim School occupancy, working closing with other HoDs to optimize pool usage.
* Assist schools with school swimming booking processes
* Forge positive working relationships with the local Swimming Clubs, Schools and the Council’s Sports Development Team to the
benefit of the Learn to Swim Programme and swimming in general.
* To teach swimming lessons across all stages and abilities of the swimming programme if and when required
* Line management (swim instructor, school instructors) responsibilities for recruitment, induction, delivering training,
appraisal, development, and performance management of staff, including one-to-ones
* Deal with any H&S incidents, accidents, safeguarding concerns & report on the management system.
* Provide clear leadership with regards to compliance with all health and safety procedures and requirements, fixing or
escalating issues as appropriate.
* Supported by the Technical Trainer you will ensure NPLQ CPD, comp test, requirements are complied with at the Centre About you To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for swimming and the ability to influence and motivate staff. You will have
experience working in wet operations ideally and be now looking to move into a senior or management position. Excellent
communication skills and experience of leading a team in your career is also essential. Employment will be subject to an enhanced
DBS check & reference checks. Qualifications Required Ideally hold, or be looking to attain a: * Level 2 Swimming Teacher Qualification
* National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
* First Aid at Work Certificate
