Are you an aspiring Applications Engineer who has knowledge of Switchgear, either hands-on or design, looking to take a step up into a varied and technically challenging off-the-tools role where you will become a client facing technical expert?

In this role, you will work closely with internal teams and external clients to understand technical requirements and provide expert advice on suitable solutions. You will support the preparation of quotations and estimates, produce and amend drawings using AutoCAD, assist with FAT's and manage BOM's.

This role would suit an Aspiring Applications Engineer from a Switchgear background, looking for an interesting and varied position within an industry leading company where they can progress into a variety of senior positions and grow their technical skills with inhouse training.

The Role:

Act as point of contact between internal teams and external clients
Prepare quotes and estimate; manage BOMs
Produce and amend drawings in AutoCAD
Assist with FAT's and entertain clients
5 hours a week, flexible hours, optional overtimeThe Person:
