A unique opportunity to step into a high-impact role that assists in shaping the future of the Lloyd's market. As Syndicate Performance Manager, you'll take the lead on managing strategic relationships with a select panel of Managing Agents, acting as a trusted partner to their CUOs and Active Underwriters. Your focus will be on performance oversight, business plan delivery, and driving sustainable, profitable growth across diverse classes of business.

This is a dynamic, outward-facing position combining technical insight, data-led analysis, and senior-level engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
-Act as the strategic relationship lead for a portfolio of syndicates, influencing underwriting performance and portfolio direction.
-Deliver detailed, MI-driven analysis and insight into syndicate performance, including P&L trends, loss ratios, and class-level positioning.
- Monitor delivery against approved business plans, challenging and supporting Managing Agents to ensure underwriting discipline and long-term profitability.
- Lead on the rollout of market-wide initiatives and contribute to evolving Lloyd's strategic response to emerging risks and market trends.
- Present performance reviews, recommendations, and risk-based assessments to internal and external senior stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a high-calibre Senior Underwriter or Underwriting Manager with a strong grasp of performance management (particularly P&L), portfolio strategy, and the full underwriting lifecycle. You should be commercially astute, technically credible, and comfortable engaging and influencing at executive level. While experience in the Lloyd's market is preferred, it's not essential - what matters most is your ability to deliver insight, challenge effectively, and drive results in a complex underwriting environment.
