Description

• Maintain and improve the organisation's financial systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to support reporting and budgeting processes.
• Develop and implement system controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Analyse and troubleshoot system issues, providing timely resolutions and updates.
• Support system users by delivering training and addressing technical queries.
• Assist in the integration of new software or upgrades to existing systems.
• Prepare detailed documentation for system processes and updates.
• Ensure data integrity and security within financial systems.

Profile

A successful System Accountant should have:

• Experience working with financial systems within the not-for-profit sector or similar environments.
• A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and system administration tools.
• An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
• The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
• A degree or qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
