System Administrator

Job Description

As part of our growing team, we are seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator to join us in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Administer and maintain the stability, security, and effectiveness of IT systems, networks, and servers.
Administrate and maintain Firewalls, Switches, Routers and WAP's
Actively engage in addressing IT Support tickets.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
Assist with implantation of IT Projects.
Monitor system performance and ensure system security.
Identify and resolve system bottlenecks, performance issues, and errors.
Optimise system configurations for maximum efficiency.
Provide technical support to end-users and resolve hardware/software issues.
Conduct user training sessions as needed.
Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting investigations when necessary.
Create and maintain system documentation, including configurations and procedures.
Manage inventory of hardware and software assets.

Requirements
Technical Knowledge of Windows Server & Client OS administration and maintenance.
Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Office 365.
Knowledge of Networking - TCP/IP, Routing Protocols, VLANs, DNS/DHCP etc.
Experience with VMware.
Experience of Cisco IOS & Linux (beneficial but not necessary).

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are a plus.
