Job Description - System Architect- Corporate Functions

Key Responsibilities:

Designs enhancements and new business applications and/or information systems solutions through integration of technical and business requirements. Serves as technical designer to identify best solutions and resulting technical specifications within limits of the environment. Links business needs and Architecture definitions to technical solutions. Accountable for build activities within project delivery.

Key Activities:

  • Analyzes business needs and manages the creation of software solutions that meet those needs.
  • Reviews flow charts, business process management (BPM) workflows, and systems diagrams to manage problem analysis
  • Responsible for overall design documentation and ensuring that functional and technical documentation meets requirements. ​
  • Manages the designing, and documentation of software/solution according to SBD-IT systems standards, policies and procedures.  
  • Provide guidance in testing activities and on configuration and coding when needed. ​
  • Provides technical assistance where needed to ensure timely resolution of incidents or issues. ​
  • Ensures execution plan is on track and reports any major deviations in budget or timeline
  • Effectively plans and integrates new products with the existing IT landscape
  • Oversees the resolution of contentious issues escalated during implementation
  • Manages the development of operating procedures and user manuals for transition into routine operations
  • Enable building of knowledge databases for technology, solutions and domain areas
  • Manages work with architecture, application services, infrastructure, release management and other relevant stakeholders to enable a smooth deployment
  • Manage and lead work on capturing and transferring tacit knowledge to vendors and knowledge management systems
  • Works with outside partners to ensure SBD requirements are met 
  • Lead SAP architecture and integration for corporate functions.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
  • Establish and maintain SAP standards, roadmaps, and best practices.
  • Oversee SAP upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
  • Ensure SAP compliance with security, audit, and data governance policies.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to SAP teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP issues.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Technical Skills​

  • Integration Technologies
  • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA and core modules.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP Integrations
  • Proficiency in SAP landscape design (on-premise, cloud, hybrid).
  • Knowledge of SAP Basis, security, and user administration.
  • Strong understanding of SAP technicals and middleware.Experience with SAP upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.
  • Pagero Functional and Customisation
  • E-Invoicing (Poland, Belgium, Romania) Functional Expertise
  • KTA Functional and Customisation
  • In House Cash Functional and Customisation
  • CITI Supplier Finance Functional Knowledge
  • Experience with Readsoft (E03 version)
  • Expertise in SAP ECC (E03/P10/C11)
  • SAP S/4HANA (SHP)
  • Integration with Trax
  • Implementation and support for e-invoicing solutions across multiple countries

Education/Experience

  • Undergraduate degree with relevant experience, or graduate degree with relevant experience.
  • Leadership experience
