What will you be doing? 

ALTEN is looking for three experienced System Requirements Engineers to support the development of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) for a major automotive client. You’ll be working on-site in a hybrid capacity as part of a high-performance engineering team.

Your main responsibilities will be: 

• Defining and managing system-level requirements for ADAS features such as Parking Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Drive Pilot
• Supporting the integration of software and hardware components
• Working within a functional safety framework in line with ISO 26262

Who are we looking for? 

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure traceability, validation, and successful delivery of systems engineering work
• System requirements engineering in embedded, safety-critical environments
• Familiarity with functional safety standards (ISO 26262)
• Tools including DOORS, MATLAB/Simulink, and CANoe

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage traceable documentation
• Experience working within OEM or Tier 1 suppliers on ADAS programmes
• Comfortable interpreting and contributing to system architecture discussions
