Systemic Family Therapy Lead (0.4 wte)
Clinical Psychology Doctorate (ClinPsyD) Programme
School of Psychology and Social Work, Faculty of Health Sciences

We are seeking a clinical psychologist or psychological therapist to join our ClinPsyD programme team to lead the delivery of our Association of Family Therapy (AFT) accredited systemic practice programme embedded within the ClinPsyD programme. This is in line with one of the priorities set out by Health Education England (HEE) for 2023 to 2026 and beyond with regard to programmes benchmarking their systemic family therapy provision against AFT accreditation criteria.

You will join a forward thinking and enthusiastic ClinPsyD team involved in the delivery of first-class professional training for postgraduate clinical psychology trainees. The successful applicant will be a valued member of our programme team, working closely with the academic, clinical and research coordinators, the programme director and other members of the clinical psychology programme team.

The University of Hull is the fourteenth oldest university in England; as an internationally engaged, civic institution this strong history is paired with a vibrant and modern outlook. Our colleagues, students and partners have developed a renewed, ambitious and distinctive vision – to shape a fairer, brighter, carbon-neutral future for all and our largest faculty (the Faculty of Health Sciences) continues to innovatively expand and develop.

The successful applicant will be based in the School of Psychology and Social Work, which is a vibrant and interdisciplinary School delivering high quality teaching and research in Psychology, Social Work, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Clinical Psychology, within the Faculty of Health Sciences.  The University has a reputation for world-class, innovative multi-disciplinary research in healthcare and social work, which addresses regional, national and global issues in the health sciences field.

The successful applicant will be joining a Faculty and University that has central to its vision and values a ‘commitment to social justice, equality, inclusion and sustainable development’. This commitment pervades all our education, research, knowledge exchange and civic engagement, and the culture, policies and working practice of our University community’.
