Interim Systems Accountant
Nottinghamshire (With hybrid working model)

SF Recruitment require a qualified/part qualified or qualified by experience Accountant to join our client on an interim contract and have on offer an exceptional opportunity and package to match for the successful individual.

Reporting to the Finance Director your day to day your responsibilities will include:

- Management of system administration and acting as first support in relation to systems queries
- Audit review of controls - identifying any risks
- Supporting key projects as part of the continuous improvement of systems
- Liaison with internal stakeholders as well as 3rd party vendors to ensure systems issues / queries are resolved and upgrades are implemented
- Reviewing and maintaining all financial systems policies and procedures
- Training and supporting finance team members and non-finance colleagues in the use of financial systems and procedures
- Documenting of key business processes for all finance and related systems
- Project work to scope out potential improvements, best practice opportunities for finance and related systems
- Streamline and improve business reporting
- Identify and escalate possible risk areas

Our client is keen to attract an accountant with exceptional systems skills, ideally you will have worked within larger businesses where multiple systems are in use.
Your data management skills will be strong, you should be able to work well with large data sets across a range of platforms. In addition:

- Experienced in the mapping and implementation of new processes and supporting to ensure these are embedded in to the business.
- Systems implementations experience an advantage
- Solid Accounting background and understanding of double entry
- Knowledge of a wide range of finance systems is very much an advantage -
- Strong stakeholder and Project Management experience is preferable, as a minimum you should possess excellent continuous improvement experience
