Our client is seeking a Systems Accountant to join their team during an exciting period of transformation. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and growing company portfolio. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in streamlining financial systems and controls, ensuring accurate reporting and contributing to key projects.

Responsibilities of the Systems Accountant

• Lead the upgrade and implementation of a new financial system, transitioning from Sage 50.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align system functionalities with organisational needs.
• Manage the end-to-end system migration process, including data transfer, testing, and rollout.
• Provide comprehensive training and support to key users for smooth adoption of the new system.
• Evaluate current financial processes and systems to recommend improvements.

What the successful candidate will bring

• Proven experience in financial system implementation/upgrades, preferably with Sage or similar platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential for this role.
• Excellent communication skills with proven ability to engage and train users across an organisation.
