Systems Accountant

Who will you be joining?

We're supporting an established business offering significant opportunities for growth and career development. This pivotal role in the Finance team involves managing and maintaining core finance systems, supporting processes and reporting cycles across their operations. It's a fantastic chance to drive change and implement continuous improvements.

What will you be doing?

You'll be responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the core financial systems - including data integrity, external software provider communication, and acting as the super-user for complex data queries and system usage.

There will also be various projects for you to get involved in, leading system-related change projects and proactively identifying and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• You're an experienced accountant with a strong financial / management accounting background and experience in a similar role.
• You're highly IT literate, including SQL, and adept at analysing and presenting complex data.
• Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to build relationships across all levels.
• You're proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in identifying and implementing system and process improvements.
• Proficiency in Excel is also key.
