Your role and responsibilities

As a Systems Analyst for the GOSS platform, your day will be varied, combining solution development with collaboration across teams. You’ll spend much of your time designing, building and delivering digital solutions, helping to create services that are simple, effective and focused on the needs of Suffolk residents.

Working closely with service teams and users, you’ll turn requirements into practical digital solutions. On a daily basis, you might be providing support, building a new online process, or making improvements to an existing service. You’ll play a key role in making sure our digital services are accessible, high quality and continuously improving.

You’ll also work with colleagues and suppliers on system changes, upgrades and enhancements, helping to ensure solutions are delivered smoothly and meet business needs.

You’ll be continually developing your expertise in the GOSS platform, while also keeping an eye on any risks or issues. Where these arise, you’ll clearly set out the impact and take action or recommend solutions to keep delivery on track.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • designing and building high-quality digital solutions in the GOSS platform
  • delivering and supporting solutions within the GOSS platform
  • working with service teams, suppliers and partners on system changes and enhancements
  • helping to prioritise backlogs and support product roadmaps
  • developing your expertise in the GOSS platform
  • identifying and managing risks and issues to support successful delivery.

You will need

  • a customer focused, collaborative approach aligned with our WE ASPIRE values
  • experience of developing digital solutions using low-code tools, ideally within the GOSS platform
  • an analytical mindset and a strong ability to problem solve
  • strong organisational skills
  • to be effective at communicating information with stakeholders at all levels
  • a positive approach to challenging priorities.

You can view a full list of requirements in the Job and Person Profile (JPP), which you can find in the ‘How to apply’ section towards the bottom of this advert.

If you believe you can succeed in this role, apply. Even if you don't meet all requirements, still apply. We would appreciate the opportunity to consider your application.
