The Opportunity
Our client is a respected rail engineering consultancy known for delivering high-quality engineering, systems and assurance expertise across major rail programmes. As they continue to grow their Systems Engineering capability, they are seeking a Systems & Safety Engineer to support senior colleagues across live rail programme delivery.

* Assisting with verification and validation (V&V) activities and building evidence packs
* Working closely with senior systems and safety engineers on compliance and assurance
* Contributing to documentation, hazard logs, and cross-discipline interface discussions
* Supporting wider programme assurance activity as required
Safety & Hazard Log Experience — A Valuable Bonus
While full training and mentoring will be provided, candidates with any exposure to hazard logs, safety case development, or wider safety-related risk assessment will bring useful additional depth. Not essential, but a strong complement to solid systems engineering fundamentals.
What You'll Bring
* A postgraduate qualification in systems engineering, safety engineering, or a related discipline
* Around 2–3 years' relevant experience
* Based in Leeds or within approximately an hour's commute
* An understanding of requirements management and traceability principles
