Systems Engineer - Fixed Term Contract - Cambridge - £50k

Platform Recruitment have partnered with a cutting-edge communications company. They are looking to recruit a systems engineer

This role will be a nine-month fixed term contract which could turn into a permanent role at the end of this period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and assess system and sub-system architectures to meet market demands.
• Coordinate system integration and testing for compliance with key standards.
• Hands-on involvement in the full product lifecycle including transfer to manufacturing.

Key skills:

• Skilled in system requirements analysis, architecture modeling, and configuration control.
• Familiarity with compliance and safety standards.
• Proven Systems Engineering experience in fibre-optics or high-tech communications products is a requirement.
• Strong understanding of electronics, software and product design.
