Systems Engineer

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Systems Engineers to join a growing team working within the Naval Combat Systems domain. You'll play a key role in developing and supporting simulation and synthetic test environment tools, collaborating with a multidisciplinary group of systems, software, and network engineers.

This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their engineering career and work on complex, high-impact defence projects.

What You'll Be Doing

* Supporting the development of simulation and test environment tools for naval systems
* Working across a structured engineering lifecycle
* Contributing to the creation and improvement of systems and processes
* Collaborating closely with systems, software, and network engineers
* Delivering high-quality technical solutions within secure defence environments

What We're Looking For

* A strong background in systems engineering
* Solid understanding of the full engineering lifecycle
* Experience developing systems and processes in a structured framework
* Defence experience is beneficial, but engineers from other industries will also be considered
* Typically 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
* Comfortable working predominantly onsite (around 5 days/week) due to network and security requirements
* Eligible for Security Clearance (SC)
* Must be a UK National

Team Environment

You'll be joining a team of around 10-15 engineers covering systems, software, and network disciplines. The environment is supportive, collaborative, and suited to engineers eager to grow their responsibility and technical depth
