TA- Caerphilly

• Support the class teacher in preparing and delivering lessons, materials, and resources.

• Provide individual or small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.

• Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.

• Help manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.

• Supervise pupils during learning activities, outings, and transitions.

• Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress, challenges, and achievements.

• Support pupils in developing social skills, confidence, and independence.

• Carry out administrative tasks such as preparing learning materials, displays, and record-keeping.

• Promote safeguarding, health, and safety in all aspects of school life.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
Previous experience working in a UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
